Ayurwell
Ayurwell is a modern Ayurvedic treatment and consultation studio based in Gisborne, Aotearoa. Rooted in holistic health, ritual, and preventative care, the studio’s founder Moana came to us with a vision: to bring the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda into a form that felt elevated, intuitive, and grounded. The brand needed to speak to daily use without feeling clinical — something soft, minimal, and deeply intentional.

Challenge
The existing brand lacked visual clarity and cohesion. It needed a system that could bridge the gap between spiritual practice and contemporary lifestyle — a brand that didn’t dilute the tradition, but made it accessible and beautiful in a modern context. From visual identity to product design, every touchpoint needed to reflect both function and care.
Approach
We began by developing a logo mark inspired by the three Ayurvedic doshas — Pitta, Vata, and Kapha — arranged in balance around the self. The form was simplified and softened into a rounded, fluid symbol that could anchor the brand. From there, we shaped the broader visual identity around tactility, stillness, and clarity — letting the story of the product and philosophy speak without distraction.

Output
The project delivered a full visual identity including logo, colour, and typography systems, as well as the design and development of Ayurwell’s first physical product: a cast and polished aluminium tongue scraper, paired with a magnetised silicone base. The object was designed for daily ritual — minimalist in form, elegant in finish, and easy to store. A set of printed and digital assets supported the rollout.
Ayurwell remains one of the studio’s most meaningful projects — driven by Moana’s integrity and care, and shaped by her commitment to healing through education and ritual. The work continues to grow as the brand evolves, and we're proud to have helped give it a new voice.
