Red Bull DJ Booth
This project involved the design and fabrication of a custom DJ booth for a local venue in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland. Sponsored by Red Bull, the brief called for a striking, modern centerpiece that reflected both the energy of the brand and the venue’s aesthetic.

Challenge
To create a minimal yet high-impact DJ booth that felt industrial, sharp, and modern. The unit had to be functional, mobile, and integrate programmable LED technology — all while staying visually aligned with the environment of the venue.
Approach
We designed the booth using a sharp, angular geometry and specified a blasted steel finish to emphasise its industrial edge. The unit was fabricated in collaboration with Matt Dawkins, who handled the welding and structural build. Once constructed, we integrated programmable LED bars into the front panel and connected them to the venue’s control system for reactive light displays. A custom LED screen was added by Paul from New Territory, enhancing the visual experience and allowing further custom content control.

Output
A fully mobile, high-performance DJ booth finished in blasted steel with programmable LED bars and screen integration. It blends toughness with modular tech, offering both visual and functional punch in a compact footprint.
The booth feels like a natural extension of the venue — modern, minimal, and built for energy. Red Bull’s backing added momentum, but the result stands on its own: a hard-hitting, LED-reactive centrepiece that elevates any set.
